Air Australia goes under


Compare, Select & Save on private health cover with iSelectAir Australia, Australia’s newest new low cost domestic and international carrier (news item), was placed into voluntary administration on Friday 17th February 2012, grounding all flights and stranding up to 4,000 passengers.

About 300 jobs have also been lost.

Hawaiian Airlines are stated to be offering special $300 one-way fares to help get stranded Air Australia travellers back home.

Qantas, Jetstar, Virgin and AirAsia X have also stated they will assist with stranded Air Australia travellers.
