The average Annual Incomes for all Australian Male Full Time workers based on Total Income, from the ABS May 2019 report, shows annual increases ranging from 1.17% (2016) to a high of 6.06% (2010).
The last two years have risen by an average of 2.49% per year.

The figures quoted are the Mean Average. I estimate the median average to be about 87%-90% of the mean average, based on the available comparisons of Mean and Median wages for the seven years between 1996 and 2003. A conservative 85% has been used for the 4th column in the above figures.

In 2009 there were 178,000 Local Government employees – Their average wage was $47,560.67 pa each
In 2009 there were 242,900 Commonwealth Government employees – Their average wage was $68,165.50 pa each
In 2009 there were 1,386,600 State Government employees – Their average wage was $59,939.13 pa each
