- 34 – HSBC Bank Australia
- 48 – Suncorp-Metway
3rd Digit Codes
- 2 – Australian Capital Territory and New South Wales
- 3 – Victoria
- 4 – Queensland
- 5 – South Australia and Northern Territory
- 6 – Western Australia
- 7 – Tasmania
Examples would be:
114-xxx = St George Bank, in Queensland
012-xxx = Commonwealth Bank, in Australian Capital Territory and New South Wales
123-xxx = Bank of Queensland, in Victoria…. (yes, apparently the Bank of Queensland has branches in Melbourne)
