Can the Cows really tell that we have daylight saving

Compare, Select & Save on private health cover with iSelectThis often used comment really does bring out the agro in some people.

An example seen some time ago:

The quote: (Anti Daylight Saving)

Our livestock cannot be put to ‘bed’ until it’s cooler which means we take the risk of leaving them in the paddocks for wild dogs if we are needing to go out

The reply: (Pro Daylight Saving)

Your comment just keeps making it clear that some Queenslanders are idiots… behind the times. How the hell do the cows know the time has changed forward by only an hour

I am not sure if people realise that calling people idiots, because of how they live their lives, does not generally prove a positive point in their favour.

The original comment makes no mention of the COW knowing what the time was, but the objector changed the argument to something totally different to prove his point.

On a personal note, that type of attitude would make me vote differently to the one  who is changing the words and trying to make fun of people.

On a serious note, how does it affect the cows ?

It doesn’t, but it does affect the farmers, as they have to still do everything at the same time as before, even though it is now a different time.

I agree that farmers in Daylight Saving zones already do this, but how many of them like it ?  has anyone asked them in NSW ?  Were the farmers in NSW part of the 31% who voted AGAINST daylight saving in the last NSW referendum ?
