In a Poll carried out in the QLD Courier mail, asking the question:

Would you support daylight saving in southeast Queensland?

The result, after 24,667 votes is, so far:

• Yes 49.39%
• No 50.61%

Not exactly a resounding success either way.

Update to the Newspaper poll  (8th June 2010):

• Yes = 49.89% (12920 votes)
• No = 50.11% (12978 votes)

Total votes: 25898

Can’t get much closer than that !
Only 58 votes difference from over 25,000 voters
