Do your curtains fade due to the sun

Compare, Select & Save on private health cover with iSelectHas anyone really thought about this and worked out why curtains in Queensland may fade more, just by moving the clocks by 1 hour.

Could it be true that the curtains do really fade more ?

or is it just a tall tale made up to make the daylight saving opposition look foolish ?

Is it only a few people who say the curtains will fade, and maybe they do actually have a reason ?

But the majority of people who mention it are those in favour of Daylight saving, and it is only mentioned to try to make fun of  peoples choice in closing curtains to keep the heat out.

Keep your home cool and keep heat out in the summer by:

  • shade windows from the sun from sunrise to sunset – this keeps the sun off the house for as long as possible
  • close curtains or blinds in rooms that are not being used
