State Election Dates in Queensland
The following is a list of dates for each of the State Elections held in Queensland between 1947 and 2021.

The main political parties in Queensland State Politics are:
ALP = Australian Labor Party
LNP = Liberal National Party
During the years 1947 to 2020 the ALP have won 15 Queensland State Elections, with the Liberal Coalition parties winning 12 times.
From 3 May 1947 to 31 October 2020, the ALP have held power in Queensland for 40.06 years, while the Liberal coalitions have held power for 33.48 years.
