Swimming Pool Registration in Queensland

Compare, Select & Save on private health cover with iSelectDo you have a swimming pool at a property in Queensland ?

Is it registered ?

You must register your pool before the
4th November 2011 deadline.
Penalties of up to $2000 will apply after this time.

You can check here: www.smarteda.qld.gov.au

It is very easy to check, by just entering an address on a form like this, at the above website:

Qld Swimming Pool Check

When I checked mine, I found that it was already registered, the Pool Installer must have done it.

Some people are worried about having to get a Pool Certificate, but this worry may be unnecessary.

The wording on the official site, after checking your property says:

If you are not selling or leasing your property, a pool safety certificate is NOT required.
