You must register your pool before the
4th November 2011 deadline.
Penalties of up to $2000 will apply after this time.

It is very easy to check, by just entering an address on a form like this, at the above website:
When I checked mine, I found that it was already registered, the Pool Installer must have done it.
Some people are worried about having to get a Pool Certificate, but this worry may be unnecessary.
The wording on the official site, after checking your property says:
If you are not selling or leasing your property, a pool safety certificate is NOT required.
