Repatriation Flights from India to Resume on Saturday 15th May 2021.
The Australian government has just announced that the Howard Springs quarantine facility is almost ready to resume accepting the return of Australians stranded in India.
They have stated that Repatriation Flights from India, for those Australians in India that are classed as vulnerable, will resume on Saturday 15th May 2021.
About 900 of the 9,000 (approx) Australians in India, that have registered with the federal government to return home, are classed as vulnerable.
Health and financial circumstances are understood to be part of the factors taken into consideration when determining levels of vulnerabilities.
