People with an mRNA vaccine (Pfizer) may be protected for life!
A new study published Monday found that people vaccinated with an mRNA vaccine will be protected for years to come from the deadly virus.
The study, of 14 people, found that those who had the coronavirus and then got the Pfizer vaccine will have an immunity that would last years and even a lifetime.
However, the article does say they won’t need boosters as long as the virus does not mutate and evolve.
The study did not examine the effects the vaccine has in the battle against the Delta variant which is now plaguing the UK and Europe.
Dr Ali Ellebedy is the immunologist at Washington University in St. Louis who led the study. The study was published 28 June 2021 in the journal Nature.
