This is for those interested in seeing how the numbers of Partner Visa Applications have changed since the 2006-07 year.
It is interesting to see how the offshore (subclass 309) partner visa application numbers used to be slightly more than the onshore (subclass 820) applications, back in the 2006-07 and 2007-08 years.
But in the recent years, the numbers of onshore (subclass 820) applications have been rising to around double the offshore (subclass 309) number.
Total Partner visa applications by subclass (primary and dependent applicants combined) lodged in each financial year between 2006-07 and 2019-20 were:
Year | subclass 309 |
subclass 820 |
subclass 300 |
---|---|---|---|
2020-21 | n/a | n/a | n/a |
2019-20 | 15,126 | 34,156 | 3,197 |
