Australia to Trial Home Quarantine.
South Australia has volunteered to pilot the 14-day COVID home quarantine program that was discussed at the last National Cabinet.
SA Health has approved the proposal, and South Australia has now confirmed a two-week trial will proceed.
South Australian Premier Steven Marshall said the trial would involve returning defence personnel and Paralympians, who had been fully vaccinated in Australia.
No start date has yet been set, but Prime Minister Scott Morrison said the pilot program would take place “as soon as possible”.
