Quarantine Hub to replace Hotel quarantine in Victoria.
The first 250 beds at the new Victorian Quarantine Hub in Mickleham, West Melbourne, will open in late February 2021.
The new facility will house unvaccinated arrivals, and any COVID-19 positive cases who are not able to isolate at home.
The current medi-hotels will close by the end of March.
Many of the staff from the medi-hotel quarantine facilities will be transferred to the new quarantine hub.
