More people from Victoria have been caught breaking the border quarantine rules, when crossing into Queensland while transiting via New South Wales.
Three Logan men will face court after allegedly travelling from Victoria and lying on their border declarations upon their return to Queensland.
The trio allegedly travelled through the Queensland road border on the M1 at Coolangatta on Sunday, 2nd August 2020 with false ‘G’ pass declarations after having spent several weeks in Melbourne.
They were detained by police overnight and immediately placed into hotel quarantine.
A 29-year-old Slacks Creek man, a 23-year-old Waterford man and a 25-year-old man from Loganlea have all been issued with notices to appear in court for failing to comply with the COVID-19 Queensland Border Direction.
This increases the risk of the virus spreading into Queensland.
They don’t seem to care if Queensland ends up like Victoria, with more cases and more deaths. They also don’t care about spreading it in NSW, while moving through that state to come back up to Queensland.
