I heard a rumour that Aldi was opening in a new shopping complex in New Norfolk, Tasmania.
The information also stated that it was blocked by local retailers.
But it seems that nothing has come of the campaign top get ALDI to Tasmania from 2008
Mr Gray said he had already had discussions with representatives of ALDI and had earlier in the week written to ALDI inviting the company to give greater consideration to Tasmania.
I call on the State Government to understand that battling Tasmanians are hurting and to put a much greater effort in to attracting ALDI to our State. ?
