ANZAC day is Sunday 25 April in 2021.
This day was originally to remember the members of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps that fell from the landings at Gallipoli at dawn on this day in 1915 during World War One.
8,709 Australians and 2,701 New Zealanders died in the Gallipoli campaign, over the period of eight and a half months, that cost the lives of over 44,000 Allied Soldiers and over 80,000 Turkish soldiers.

- Victoria does not have a Public Holiday on the Monday, when Anzac day falls on a weekend.
- Tasmania does not have a Public Holiday on the Monday, when Anzac day falls on a weekend.
