Attempted armed robbery, North Lakes, Queensland May 19, 2015.
Police are investigating after a man attempted to rob a service station at North Lakes last night.
Around 11pm a man armed with a knife attended the Flinders Parade business but was not able to gain entry as the door was locked.
The man banged on the door and showed the male attendant the knife but was not permitted entry.
The man ran off empty handed.
The man is described as Caucasian, 190cm tall and of average build. He was wearing a white jacket, blue trousers, a blue shirt, a balaclava and was carrying a black bag.
