From 20 September 2023, the Australian Age Pension will rise by $32.70 per fortnight, for the single person rate.
That results in an annual increase of 6.82% from September 2022.
The single rate of the Age Pension, with supplements, will increase by $32.70 per fortnight – from $1,064 to $1,096.70
The rate for each member of a couple, with supplements, will increase by $24.70 per fortnight – from $802 to $826.70
The inflation rate to June 2023 according to the ABS was 6.0%.
The Australian Aged Pension from September 2023.
The Australian Aged Pension is revised in March and September (normally) each year, and the September 2023 new Pension Rates have been released. This pension is paid Fortnightly.
The Age Pension recipients will increase by $33.70 a fortnight for singles, and $24.70 each for members of a couple.
The brings the fortnightly rates to:
- $1,096.70 for singles.
- $827.60 for each member of a couple.
