Visas to Visit US from Australia.
A 90 day Electronic System for Travel Authorization [ESTA] to the United States for an Australian citizen would cost US$14 (A$18)
The Visa Waiver Program (VWP) enables nationals of certain countries, including Australia, to travel to the United States for tourism or business (business meetings) for stays of 90 days or less without obtaining a visa. Eligible nationals of all member countries must obtain an Electronic System for Travel Authorization [ESTA] prior to travel to the United States at a fee of US$14 (A$18) (Work is not allowed on the VWP)
A Business Tourist [B-1/2] visa for 12 months is $224 with no issuance fee. (but no paid work allowed)
A H Class Temporary Working visa for the US will cost A$266, with an extra $147 for the Issuance Fee. Total of $413
However, some applicants may require two different U.S. visas at the same time. This can result in much higher Visa fees.
