When will Australia open its International Borders?
On the 11th March 2021, Prime Minister Scott Morrison confirmed that Australia was on track to reopening its borders by October 2021.
His words included: “That’s our hope and that’s our expectation“.
It is not a guarantee, and it will come down to the earlier statement: “International borders will be opened when international arrivals do not pose a risk to Australians.”
That was stated at the time that QANTAS was to reopen its flight schedules, for almost all international Qantas flights, from 1st July 2021. But which was delayed due to COVID creating issues again from international arriving flights.
