Australian Minimum Wage Rise July 2019

Increase in Australian Minimum Wage, July 2019.

The Australian Fair Work Commission has granted 2.2 million low paid workers a $21.60 a week pay rise.

The three per cent pay rise was announced on Thursday 30th May 2019 and takes the national minimum weekly wage to $740.80 or $19.49 per hour.

Effective from 1 July 2019.

Junior employee 19 years $16.08

Apprentice in 1st year $10.72
Apprentice in 2nd year $12.67
Apprentice in 3rd year $15.59
Apprentice in 4th year $18.52
