Fairfax-Ipsos poll found Malcolm Turnbull still preferred Liberal Party leader

The final Fairfax-Ipsos poll for 2017 has found that 35 per cent of Coalition voters backed Mr Turnbull as preferred Liberal leader compared to 29 per cent backing Ms Bishop.

Queensland Election Results after 75% Counted

Queensland Election Results as at 27 Nov 2017 after 75% counted

The results so far are:

  1. Labor Party have 834,719 votes, which is 35.90% of the total so far. This is a reduction of 1.60% since the last election
  2. Liberal National have 779,225 votes, which is 33.50% of the total so far. This is a reduction of 7.80% since the last election
  3. One Nation have 319,709 votes, which is 13.80% of the total so far. This is an increase of 12.80% since the last election

The latest four to be asked about this are: Tony Zappia, born in Italy, with Italian Citizenship, Maria Vamvakinou born in Greece with Greek Citizenship, Justine Keay, born in Australia but with a British father and Susan Lamb, born in Australia but with British father.

Bill Shorten call for Republic Plebiscite. August 2017

Mr Shorten said he would hold a referendum with a simple yes or no answer to decide whether Australia should remain in the monarchy.
