Cost of transferring from PMV 300 to Partner Visa 820/801

Cost of Transferring to Partner Visa 820/801 from PMV 300.

The initial cost for the PMV 300 visa is the same as the Onshore Partner Visa 820 and Offshore Partner Visa 309, but the PMV route has an additional cost to change from the PMV to the 820 Onshore Partner Visa .

The fees from July 2020 have not been released yet but if they follow the CPI increases we might see fees of:
$8,100 for the first visa, and $1,350 for the change from subclass 300 to subclass 820.

The Current Fees 2019/20 (at July 2019) are:

• $7,715 Partner (Subclass 820/801)

• $7,715 Prospective Marriage (Subclass 300) followed by:
• $1,285 Partner (Subclass 820/801) visa application by Prospective Marriage (Subclass 300) visa holder

The 2018-19 fees were:

• $7,160 Partner (Subclass 820/801)

• $7,160 Prospective Marriage (Subclass 300) followed by:
• $1,195 Partner (Subclass 820/801) visa application by Prospective Marriage (Subclass 300) visa holder

$1,995 at July 2011.
$2,680 at March 2013.
$3,085 at September 2013.
$4,627.50 at January 2015. (up 50%)
$7,000 at July 2017, with $1,170 for the change from subclass 300 to 820.
$7,160 at July 2018, with $1,195 for the change from subclass 300 to 820.
$7,715 at July 2019, with $1,285 for the change from subclass 300 to 820.

It is cheaper to get the Partner (Subclass 820/801 or 309/100) Visa than go down the Prospective Marriage (Subclass 300) visa route.
