NSW recorded 360 new locally acquired cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8pm 10th October 2021.
With 5 deaths all over age 40. The 2 fully vaccinated deaths were in their 80s with underlying health conditions.

NSW recorded 477 new locally acquired cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8pm 9th October 2021.
With 6 deaths all over age 50. The fully vaccinated death was in her 90s with underlying health conditions.

NSW recorded 646 new locally acquired cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8pm 7th October 2021.

NSW recorded 587 new locally acquired cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8pm 6th October 2021.

COVID-19 in NSW – up to 8pm 4 October 2021

NSW Health reported 608 new cases for the 4th October 2021, none were listed as Interstate or Overseas acquired.

NSW Health reported the deaths of seven people, six men and one woman, on the 4th October 2021.
One person was in their 50s, two people were in their 60s, three people were in their 70s, and one person was in their 80s.

There were 8,571 active COVID-19 cases in NSW.
8,553 were locally acquired, 5 interstate and 13 overseas acquired.

978 are in hospital, 190 in intensive care and 94 requiring ventilation.

COVID-19 in NSW: September 2021

At the end of September 2021 there was a total of 63,023 confirmed COVID-19 cases in NSW since the pandemic began. There were 27,922 at the end of August.

This means that there were 35,101 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in New South Wales during September 2021.   35,058 local and 43 overseas.  An average of 1,168 local cases per day in September 2021.
