Victoria is seeing an increase in the COVID-19 cases again.
This is causing supermarket shopping restrictions to be re-imposed in Victoria. eg: back to just one or two packs of toilet paper. This time being brought in early, to try to avoid the shortages that the bulk buyers bought last time.
New cases in this third week of June were:
22nd Monday — 16 in Victoria.
23rd Tuesday — 17 in Victoria.
24th Wednesday — 20 in Victoria.
25th Thursday — 33 in Victoria.
Australia wide, active cases.
As at Sunday 31st May 2020, there were 478 people in Australia with the active virus.
As at Sunday 14th June 2020, there were 380 people in Australia with the active virus.
This showed a drop of 98 people with the active virus.
But rules were relaxed, and a week later:
As at Sunday 21st June 2020, there were 463 people in Australia with the active virus.
This showed an increase of 83 active cases in one week.
As at Wednesday 24th June 2020, there were 503 people in Australia with the active virus.
This is now an increase of 123 since the 14th June. The majority being in Victoria.
