If your visa sponsor dies.

If your visa sponsor dies and you have an ongoing visa application, you need to tell the Immigration department as soon as possible.

Complete Form 1022 Notification of changes in circumstances (PDF).

Email the completed form to the same place processing your application.

If your visa sponsor dies, you might still be eligible for a visa in certain situations. Check your eligibility with the office processing your application.
