Queensland Concession Card Electricity Rebate.
Concession card holders in Queensland will still receive the normal $372 concession on their Electricity bill, together with the new $550 Electricity rebate, and the $150 cost-of-living payment, during 2023-2024.
This adds up to a benefit of $1,072 for the year, to offset their Electricity bills.
Non-concession card holders will receive the $550 Queensland electricity rebate of at least $550, that is available for every Queensland home during 2023-24.
Most seniors and concession card holders will receive a total of $1,072, in Electric Bill Rebates, during the year.
Most others will receive $550.

- $700 for households that are eligible for the existing Queensland Electricity Rebate.
- $550 for all other Queensland households.

Eligibility for Concession
To be eligible for the additional benefit, over the basic $550, you must be the electricity account holder and also live alone or share your principal place of residence with (only) any of the below:
- your spouse.
- other people who hold a Services Australia or Department of Veterans’ Affairs Pensioner Concession Card or Queensland Seniors Card.
- other people wholly dependent on you.
- other people who receive an income support or families payment from Services Australia who do not pay rent.
- other people who receive an income support payment from the Department of Veterans’ Affairs and who do not pay rent.
- other people who live with the cardholder to provide care and assistance, and who do not pay rent.
The $372.20 pensioners and seniors electricity bill rebate.
Queensland pensioners and seniors may be eligible for an annual rebate of $372.20 on their electricity bill. Customers must apply for their rebate through their electricity provider.
