The ideal route for the Pre Marriage subclass 300 (PMV) visa?.

Apply for PMV (Subclass 300) Prospective Marriage visa at a cost of $7,715 (July 2019)

Then immediately apply for a 12 month Visitor Visa on the grounds of wanting to spend as much time as possible living with partner. (Some get it, some don’t. Maybe apply after doing Medicals and Police Checks)

After PMV is granted, get married and apply for the 820 Temporary Partner Visa, at the reduced cost of $1,285 for PMV applicants. (July 2019)

After about two years apply for the 801 Permanent Partner Visa, at no further cost.
