The question of the day appears to be what exactly is Global Warming or Climate Change, and how exactly will it affect us.
Also what should we do to fix any future problems caused by Climate Change.
Australia in 2005 contributed 1.5% of the worlds carbon emissions, according to the Garnaut Climate Change Review (details below), and in 2006 this percentage was down to 1.3% according to the Carbon Dioxide Information Analysis Center (CDIA), (details below).
If Australia was to magically cut all emissions by 100%, we would hardly make a dent in the worlds Climate Change problem.

Emissions per head of World Population over the last 36 years
Year | World Population | World Emissions | Emissions per population |
1971 | 3,758.39 | 14,617.05 | 3.89 |
1977 | 4,210.43 | 17,645.46 | 4.19 |

2007 | 6,609.27 | 29,320.49 | 4.44 |
Notes:
Population is counted in Millions
World emissions are in million tonnes of C02
Emissions per population is tonnes of CO2 per head
