Can’t Do Medical in 28 Days?
Many people receive a request to do a medical and are given 28 days.
The wording on the request normally advises you to reply in that 28 days, but many people think they have to get the results to immigration within that 28 days.
One thing is very important, you MUST reply with something in that 28 days.
Some people reply saying they can’t get an appointment that quickly. They should at the same time show proof of the actual appointment date.
Immigration are currently stating the following:
Due to the current high demand, appointments may exceed the 28-day time frame given in the Request for Health Examination letter.
If you are unable to undergo the health examination within the requested timeframe in your Request for Health Examination letter, you should notify the Department by attaching details through your ImmiAccount.
