How to Import a Partner Visa Application?

The above is a question sometimes asked by people who decide to stop using a migration agent and do it themselves, part way through.

Some visa applications can be imported into an IMMI account, but partner visa applications are excluded.

The relevant wording is:

Import application function allows you to bring an online application submitted from another ImmiAccount into your account.

Note: Sponsorship, nominations and partner visa applications cannot be imported.
