Fairfax-Ipsos poll found Malcolm Turnbull still preferred Liberal Party leader.
The final Fairfax-Ipsos poll for 2017 has found that 35 per cent of Coalition voters backed Mr Turnbull as preferred Liberal leader compared to 29 per cent backing Ms Bishop.
Tony Abbott, Peter Dutton and Scott Morrison were in 3rd to 5th places.
The same poll showed 48% wanting Turnbull/Abbot as preferred Prime Minister, compared to 31% for Shorton (ALP)
