New COVID case in South Australia

COVID-19 Escapes from SA Quarantine Hotel?

A worker at one of the COVID Quarantine medi-hotels in Adelaide’s CBD has tested positive to the COVID-19 virus. It is highly probable that they caught the virus while working.

Two of the workers relatives have also tested positive, with four more showing COVID–19 symptoms.

Around 90 people who were in the hospital’s emergency department at the same time as one of the relatives, an 80 year old woman, are also now in quarantine.

Everyone hopes that this is caught and resolved faster than the similar situation in Victoria some weeks ago.

There is an issue with commenting at the moment. Sometimes you can reply, other times you can't. This is being looked into... Thanks
  2. Based on data current at 2:00 pm, there were 5 new cases Tuesday 17th November.

Updated data for Monday 16th November shows there were 18 cases in total on the 16th.

This gives 23 cases over 2 days.

Presumably this includes the one overseas arrival that began this group of cases.
