Australian Partner Visa Refusals in 2017/18.
A Freedom of Information report from Australian Immigration, has shown the numbers of Partner Visa Refusals, distributed between applications lodged with and without a Migration agent, and finalised in 2017/18.
The figures below, taken from that report, show:

- 13.23% of offshore partner visa applications lodged WITH a Migration agent were refused.
- 7.39% of offshore partner visa applications lodged WITHOUT a Migration agent were refused.

- 12.36% of onshore partner visa applications lodged WITH a Migration agent were refused.
- 8.13% of onshore partner visa applications lodged WITHOUT a Migration agent were refused.
Subclass 309/100 Partner Visa Refusals in 2017/18.
Total (and percentage) number of finalised applications that were lodged with the appointment of a registered migration agent:

- 14,960 Finalised
- 1,979 of those were Refused (13.23%)
Total (and percentage) number of finalised applications lodged without the appointment of a registered migration agent:

- 33,133 Finalised
- 2,450 of those were Refused (7.39%)
Subclass 820/801 Partner Visa Refusals in 2017/18.
Total (and percentage) number of finalised applications that were lodged with the appointment of a registered migration agent:

- 24,471 Finalised
- 3,025 of those were Refused (12.36%)
Total (and percentage) number of finalised applications lodged without the appointment of a registered migration agent:

- 34,312 Finalised
- 2,791 of those were Refused (8.13%)
