Partner Visa Sponsor Status still says Submitted

An Australian visa status will normally change throughout the application process, from Submitted, Received, and maybe some more, until finally it becomes “Finalised”.

Some people worry when their sponsors application is still at “Submitted” and does not change.

Do not panic.  It will not change.

I was the Sponsor and  mine never changed from submitted, even after the application was granted.

I recently found this, which confirms the situation.

• The application status for My Health Declarations and Partner sponsorship forms will always display a status of submitted and will not change to a status of received.
