Priority Processing for some Partner Visas.
A Budget 2020 announcement was that partner visa applications, where the sponsor resides in a designated regional area, will receive priority processing.
This is presumably to address the overcrowding in the main cities, and allow more new arrivals into the regional areas.
This could result in some faster 309 grants, but slower for those where the sponsor lives in the main cities.
