Petrol Prices in Australia.

Petrol prices vary in the entire world, and this also often applies in different parts of each country.

These actual figures show my own average costs, during each year, (or half year for 2024), in South East Queensland.

The car has driven an average of 19,000 km per year, with a minimum of 16,000 km per year.

I do take advantage of lower prices whenever possible, avoiding filling up where prices are high.

Petrol price in 2024.

My petrol cost, using E10 fuel, during January to June 2024 was $13.21 per 100 kilometres, at an average of 13.6 kms per litre, with an average litre cost of $1.793. The price per litre varied between $1.655 and $1.895.

My petrol cost, using E10 fuel, during 2023 was $13.84 per 100 kilometres, at an average of 12.9 kms per litre, with an average litre cost of $1.779. The price per litre varied between $1.617 and $1.957.

My petrol cost, using E10 fuel, during 2022 was $12.99 per 100 kilometres, at an average of 13.1 kms per litre, with an average litre cost of $1.701. The price per litre varied between $1.457 and $2.187.
