Australian Property Prices to December 2024.
During the 12 months in 2024, some median property prices increased, while some decreased in value.
These are shown in order of the change over 12 months, and are based on the median value of sales.
Half will be less than the dollar figure, and half will be higher.
Australian Median Property price changes, from December 2023 to December 2024:
- Perth WA, increased 19.1% to $813,016.
- Adelaide SA, increased 13.1% to $814,430.
- Brisbane QLD, increased 11.2% to $890,746.
- Sydney NSW, increased 2.3% to $1,191,995.
- Darwin NT, increased 0.8% to $496,871.
- Canberra ACT, dropped 0.4% to $844,277.
- Hobart TAS, dropped 0.6% to $651,043.
- Melbourne VIC, dropped 3.0% to $774,093.
Overall Australian changes.
Combined Capital Properties increased by 4.5% to $896,372.
Combined Regional Properties increased by 6% to $657,652.
All Australian properties increased by an average of 4.9% to $814,837 during 2024.
