From July 2025, Electricity companies will be able to charge solar sysyem owners to be able to export their power to them.
That is the ruling from the Australian Energy Market Commission (AEMC), who handed down their ruling on Thursday, 12th August 2021.
The ANC has stated that charges will only be imposed when there is congestion on the grid, and they will not be able to impose flat fees.
My Electricity bill already has a flat daily fee allowing me to sell my solar power to the Electricity provider.
