PhD students applying in Tasmania’s Skilled Employment Pathway for Subclass 190 Skilled Nominated Visa visas, will receive higher priority in their 2023-24 migration program.
Tasmania will also now extend eligibility for Subclass 190 nominations to all occupations.
If you are nominated by the Tasmanian Government for this visa, you must live in Tasmania for two years after the visa has been granted.
State nomination and your application for a visa are two separate processes. One being a State government responsibility, and the next a Federal government responsibility.
