Travel Rights During PMV to 820

From a PMV, can I travel after submitting the 820 Application?.

While on a PMV, the subclass 300 visa, the applicant is permitted to travel overseas and back, with its multiple travel facility.

After the subclass 820 visa is granted, the applicant is permitted to travel overseas and back, with its multiple travel facility.

There is however, a question in some people minds about what happens in between.

When an 820 application is submitted, you receive a notification of the Bridging Visa, probably class WA.

Many bridging visa do NOT have travel rights, and that makes people think they can’t travel.

But… keep reading the bridging visa grant notice…

It should say:
This bridging Visa is not in effect because your Prospective Marriage (Temporary) Visa is currently in effect.

Hence: Your PMV300 is valid until the date that it expires, or until the date that the 820 is decided.
