Universities must arrange Quarantine before International Students return.

Universities have been told to arrange Stringent Quarantine for returning International Students.

Health Minister Greg Hunt has said that Australian universities should put forward suggestions about how they could bring international students back to campuses.

This is basically saying: If you want International Students back, at the same time as Domestic Students, you need to arrange supervised, stringent quarantine for those international students.

Health Minister Greg Hunt, on Wednesday 20th May 2020, told Universities:

“We are welcoming of proposals for universities – subject to it being at the same time as their general student populations – to look at means of bringing back through supervised, stringent quarantine, international students,” he told reporters in Melbourne on Wednesday.

This has been reported by the SBS as “Federal government asks universities for help bringing back international students.”
