Australian Sponsored Family Stream Visitor visa.
Applications for the Sponsored Family Stream option of the subclass 600 Visitor Visas to Australia must have a sponsor.

- Normally the sponsor must be a family member in Australia.
- A sponsor can’t be a fiance, in-law, cousin or friend.
- A sponsor can only sponsor one visa applicant at a time.
- The sponsor must normally have lived in Australia for the last 2 years, although this might be reduced in compelling compassionate circumstances.
The cost of the subclass 600 Sponsored Family Stream Visitor visa is $140 as at April 2019.
The refusal rate is higher for the Sponsored Family Stream, compared to the normal Tourist Stream Visa.
During the Apr to Jun 2017 quarter, the visitor visa refusal rates were:

- 7.6% Tourist Stream Visa, with 76 in each 1,000 refused.
- 21.3% Family Sponsored Tourist Stream Visa, with 213 in each 1,000 refused.
During the Oct to Dec 2014 quarter, the visitor visa refusal rates were:

- 6.6% – Tourist Stream Visa, with 66 in each 1,000 refused.
- 24.8% – Sponsored Tourist Stream Visa, with 248 in each 1,000 refused.

In January 2020, 75% of Sponsored family stream Visitor visa applications were processed in under 54 days, but 10% took over 64 days.
