New COVID-19 Cases Reported in Western Australia.

There have been 54 cases of the Coronavirus COVID-19 reported in Western Australia during October up to the date of this post.  22 have been international air arrivals and 32 have been from ships anchored or moored in WA waters.

20 October 2020: 24 new cases of COVID-19 in Western Australia overnight. (all 24 from the AL Messilah livestock carrier). There are currently 44 active cases from the total of 738.

19 October 2020: 0 new cases of COVID-19 in Western Australia overnight. There are currently 20 active cases from the total of 714.

18 October 2020: 3 new cases of COVID-19 in Western Australia overnight. (One from each of the “Key Integrity” and “AL Messilah” vessels and one being an international worker in a State-run quarantine hotel.) There are currently 20 active cases from the total of 714.

17 October 2020: 2 new cases of COVID-19 in Western Australia overnight. (Both from people in hotel quarantine). There are currently 19 active cases from the total of 711.

16 October 2020: No new cases of COVID-19 in Western Australia overnight. There are currently 17 active cases from the total of 709.





15 October 2020: 5 new cases of COVID-19 in Western Australia overnight. (All five cases are in hotel quarantine and travelled to Perth from either India, Nepal or Brazil.) There are now 24 active cases from the total of 709.

14 October 2020: 1 new case of COVID-19 in Western Australia overnight. (Direct into hotel quarantine from the UK after arrival in Perth.) There are now 19 active cases from the total of 704.

13 October 2020: 7 new cases of COVID-19 in Western Australia overnight. (One direct into hotel quarantine from India after arrival in Perth. Six brought ashore from the bulk iron ore carrier “Vega Dream” anchored off Port Hedland). There are now 18 active cases from the total of 703.

12 October 2020: 2 new cases of COVID-19 in Western Australia overnight. (One direct into hotel quarantine from Indonesia after arrival in Perth. One brought ashore from the bulk iron ore carrier “Vega Dream” anchored off Port Hedland). There are now 18 active cases from the total of 696.

11 October 2020: 2 new cases of COVID-19 in Western Australia overnight. (Both direct into hotel quarantine from international arrivals). There are now 15 active cases from the total of 694.

10 October 2020: No new cases of COVID-19 in Western Australia overnight. There are now 13 active cases from the total of 692.

9 October 2020: 2 new cases of COVID-19 in Western Australia overnight. (Both direct into hotel quarantine from international arrivals). There are now 13 active cases from the total of 692.

8 October 2020: 2 new cases of COVID-19 in Western Australia overnight. (Both direct into hotel quarantine from international arrivals). There are now 11 active cases from the total of 690.

7 October 2020: 1 new case of COVID-19 in Western Australia overnight. (Direct into hotel quarantine from international arrivals). There are now 9 active cases from the total of 688.

6 October 2020: No new cases of COVID-19 in Western Australia overnight. There are now 14 active cases from the total of 687.

5 October 2020: 1 new case of COVID-19 in Western Australia overnight. (Direct into hotel quarantine from Dubai after arrival in Perth.). There are now 16 active cases from the total of 687.

4 October 2020: No new cases of COVID-19 in Western Australia overnight. There are now 17 active cases from the total of 686.

3 October 2020: 1 new case of COVID-19 in Western Australia overnight. (Direct into hotel quarantine from Indonesia after arrival in Perth.). There are now 20 active cases from the total of 686.

2 October 2020: No new cases of COVID-19 in Western Australia overnight. There are now 20 active cases from the total of 685.

1 October 2020: 1 new case of COVID-19 in Western Australia overnight. (Direct into hotel quarantine from India after arrival in Perth.). There are now 22 active cases from the total of 685.

    The Department of Health has reported three new cases of COVID-19 in Western Australia overnight.

    One was from the Key Integrity, docked at Geraldton.
    Another, from the AL Messilah, docked in Fremantle.
    The third case is an international worker in a quarantine hotel.
